What is Shockwave Therapy?
Shockwave therapy (extracorporeal shockwave therapy, or ESWT) is a non-invasive, non-surgical treatment that uses high-energy sound waves to stimulate healing in injured soft tissues, tendons, and bones. By delivering pulses to damaged areas, it increases blood circulation, breaks down scar tissue, and triggers regenerative processes, commonly treating plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, and chronic and acute back pain and tendinopathies.
